Hi everyone ,
The idea of blog is completely new for me. I just got to know it this semester. Blogs is a great way to integrate technology into the classroom. They allow the teacher to be hands-free and able to be available for students who seek help. The students can essentially “teach” themselves. Another way i will use blog is by allowing students to go at their own pace. Each student can accomplish the lesson at the level and pace best fitted for him or her. I think blog are going to play a role in the major change from teacher-centered learning in the past to student-centered learning in the present and future.
In my blog I will be linking useful website for my students. They will learn lots of skills (listening, writing and reading). They will be able to practice and enjoy learning at the same time .For example, if we have a reading lesson they will view a video tape about the same topic that we are going to read. Then read the passage after that answer the questions and all this is in my bolg. Another useful thing that if my student was absent he will be able to view what we took because I will be posting what we govern during the day with all the homework.
